How to Do Netgear Nighthawk MR60 Setup?
Let us now provide you with information on how you can perform Netgear Nighthawk MR60 setup in an easy manner:
1st Step: Place the Devices
Initiate the Netgear Nighthawk MR60 setup by placing the devices. Unbox them first and then place them near the existing modem. You need to have available wall sockets here as these devices ought to be powered up which is the next step in the setup process.
2nd Step: Apply Power
Connect the power adapter to the router and plug the other end into the wall socket. Make certain that you are using the same power adapter that you got along with the device. Do the same with the MR60 satellite as well. Turn both devices on by toggling the power buttons on them. After you turn on the devices, you will notice the LEDs on them will begin flickering. As soon as the LEDs on them turn solid, you can be assured that the router, as well as the satellite, are booted up completely. In case their power LEDs do not turn solid, you need to check the wall socket and ensure that the power adapters are connected properly.
3rd Step: Sync Router Satellite
When the Netgear MR60 router and satellite are powered up, they will try to get connected or synced automatically. The LED will turn blue if they are synced. If the LEDs are amber this means the devices are not synced yet. If this happens then you need to sync them manually. To manually sync them, firstly, press the Sync button on the router and then press the Sync button on the satellite.
If you have more than one satellite, then do the same process with all other MR60 satellites.
4th Step: Connect Router to Modem
It is now time you place the connection between the Netgear MR60 router and the modem to go on with the Netgear Nighthawk setup process. Be sure of using the same Ethernet cable that came with the mesh system. Insert one of its ends into the ethernet port of the router and the other into the ethernet port of the modem.
5th Step: Do the Login
