Netgear Armor Disabled Automatically on Nighthawk Router
I have a Netgear Nighthawk router installed in my home that helps me get WiFi signals throughout my home. I have activated Netgear Armor on my Nighthawk router to keep my home network as well as connected devices secure. But while I was checking my mobile device security using the Nighthawk app, the pop-up appeared saying, “ Please enable your Armor.” I don’t know how the Netgear Armor disabled on its own.

Netgear Armor Disabled: How to Fix It?
Netgear Armor provides an automatic shield of protection for your network and the devices connected to it. Armor is pre-installed on the Nighthawk routers. You need to activate the subscription using the Nighthawk app.
If you have enabled it but it shows the Armor is disabled, then you should give a shot at the troubleshooting tips given next:
1. Check Subscription
We mentioned earlier that Armor needs an active subscription so that you can begin getting its benefits. So, first of all, check the validity date of the Netgear Armor subscription. If it is disabled automatically, then there are chances that the validity is over. You again need to activate the subscription and then see if it helps.
2. Update your Nighthawk Router
Your router might be in need of an upgrade. Check if an update is pending for your Nighthawk router. Netgear Armor disabled can also be because of outdated firmware on your router. So, access the Nighthawk login page and log in to your router either on your PC or the Nighthawk app and update your router right away. The instructions for the same can be found in the user guide.
After the router is updated, enable the Netgear Armor on it. You need to use the Nighthawk app to get this job done.
3. Update Nighthawk App
In case the Armor is enabled but the Nighthawk app shows it is not enabled, then you should consider fixing the Netgear Nighthawk app. Get the app updated to the most recent version. 4. Power Cycle the Nighthawk Router

So, go ahead and delete the app from your smartphone right away. After the app is uninstalled, restart your phone once. After that, install the app once again.
